Periodic Medical Checkups

Work may potentially expose employees to chemicals, safety hazards and biologic hazards.
A health surveillance program is essential to assess the employee or applicant to determine current state of health and to identify as early as possible any potential health problems that may be related to work exposures.

Component options may include:
Worker health history specific to the type of health surveillance required
Physical assessments, including pulmonary function testing and audiogram testing
Physician medical examinations
Laboratory testing, such as blood and urine tests if needed for specific exposures

We have team of occupational health experts who can work with you to develop a health surveillance program that meets all legal and regulatory requirements.

On-site health surveillance is available for companies needing 10 or more employee assessments. RBH staff can provide individual respirator health history and pulmonary function testing assessments in a private location at your facility, thus saving time and money.

Pulmonary Function Test
If your employees require respirators to perform their jobs, a respiratory protection program is a necessity. Pulmonary function testing can help a physician to assess an individual’s ability to wear a respirator safely while performing work duties.

If you have employees who are exposed to noise at or above a specified level, you must audiograms, which are vital in detecting changes potentially related to noise exposure.
